PHON are a trio drawing influences from 90s Drum & Bass and Hip hop, to modern pioneers including the Richard Spaven Trio, Jojo Mayer’s Nerve and the Vels Trio. Their tunes serve as launching off points for improvisatory explorations, while laying down hooks and always maintaining a strong sense of groove.
